I don’t really trust them to do it nonoffensively, but why are there no trans* people on that show?
Uhhh cause they can’t do it nonoffensively?
The population’s smaller, so they’re disproportionately underrepresented, and partially as a result of the smaller population and the other complications in being trans*, it’s not dealt with in high school environments as often as being gay is dealt with.
But I’m telling you things you already know.
It’s a step by step process, I think. Society takes time to absorb each idea, gay, bi, trans, and others all having different issues to them.
Also, this is leading to my eventual developed opinion on treatment of the media which will come later but I don’t have the time right now.
